Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is an upcoming British/American horror comedy romance film based on the 2009 parody novel of the same name by Jane Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith. In the movie, Austen's classic tale of the tangled relationships between lovers from different social classes in 19th century England is faced with a new challenge—an army of undead zombies. As the saying goes, “It is a truth universally acknowledged that a zombie in possession of brains must be in want of more brains.”
Lily James stars as Elizabeth Bennet, Sam Riley as Mr. Darcy, Jack Huston, Bella Heathcote, Douglas Booth, Matt Smith, Charles Dance, Lena Headey, Suki Waterhouse and many others. Directed by Burr Steers, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies will be released on February 5, 2016.
