August brought non-stop actions with Fantastic Four, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and Hitman: Agent 47. The adventures continue this September with exciting sequels of fan-favorite movies and some suspense/horror films that will keep you up for nights. Here are ten must-watch films this coming month:
A Walk in the Woods (Sept. 2). Start September with a feel-good comedy from director Ken Kwapis. Robert Redford stars as an aging travel writer who, along with long-estranged high school buddy, sets his feet on the 2,100 mile Appalachian Trail for a once-in-a-lifetime hiking experience.
The Transporter Refueled (Sept. 4). Newcomer Ed Skrein takes the wheels as the new Frank Martin, the lead protagonist of the high-gear action series The Transporter. Just when he thinks he is finally living a less perilous life, Frank is dragged into an inescapable bank heist of the century.
The Perfect Guy (Sept. 11). David M. Rosenthal takes us into the lives of a seemingly perfect couple broken by a handsome stranger. Unknown to Leah Vaughn (Sanna Lathan) who gets sidetracked from her idyllic relationship, the prince charming stranger turns out to be someone really sinister.
The Visit (Sept. 11). Writer-director M. Night Shyamalan returns with another sure-fire horror flick. In his new feature, a brother and a sister are sent for a week-long trip to their grandparents only to find out their beloved elders are involved in something deeply disturbing.

Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials(Sept. 18). In the second chapter of “Maze Runner” saga, Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) and his fellow Glade survivors will be chasing a powerful and mysterious organization known as WCKD. Directed by Wes Ball, the film is to be distributed by 20th Century Fox.
Everest (Sept. 18). Based on actual events, the film will depict the hardships and obstacles hikers have to face to reach the peak of the world’s highest mountain. Directed by Baltasar Kormaur, the movie is about two expeditions challenged by one of the fiercest snowstorms ever encountered by mankind.
Captive (Sept. 18). Directed by Jerry Jameson, the movie is about a life-changing event in the life of single mother and recovering drug addict Ashley Smith (Kate Mara). When taken hostage in her own apartment by murderer and accused rapist Brian Nichols (David Oyelowo), Smith takes inspiration from Rick Warren’s best-selling spiritual book.
Before I Wake (Sept. 25). Falling asleep has become terrifying for a child. In this supernatural thriller directed by Mike Flanagan, a lovely couple takes in an 8-year-old boy who, unbeknownst to them, has dreams that manifest in reality.
Hotel Transylvania 2 (Sept. 25). Drac and the gang are back, this time with a new addition to the family. Mavis and Jonathan, already a couple with a child, visit Drac for a family get-together. Yet, there is another visitor that will suddenly turn their lives around.
The Walk (Sept. 30). French high-wire artist Philippe Petit walked between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center on August 7, 1974. Director Robert Zemeckis tells his story in this biographical film starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Ben Kingsley.
